Heavy Metal World Part 1: Metal Sub-genre Chaos

This is the start of a multi-part series on heavy metal.  It may be up to four parts, but you know how these things change.

As a long time fan of heavy metal, I’ve notice a trend over the years of people (myself included) coming up with all kinds of sub-genre’s trying to find a way to understand what a bands trying to do with their music.  This is a hard thing to keep track of, even for a fan like me. But just for shits and giggles, I’m going to try.  I really don’t care, I just listen to what I like to listen to and you should too.

That’s all I can remember as of now.  I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find out there’s reggae metal out there somewhere.
